Americas Customs Operations Leader

Job Description Summary

As the Americas Customs Operations Leader, you will be responsible for leading the region operations team , covering 4 countries, USA, MX, BR, CA. Management of Customs Brokers and Customs Vendors to assure for 200,000 shipments annually execute to requirements. Oversee 60 GE Aerospace sites export and import process conformance to requirements, lead corrective actions as needed; manage government agency compliance reporting, replies, and audit participation; and special program execution. Lead global external audit preparation and audit processes. Own KPI's to monitor Enterprise Standard and regulatory conformance to reduce risk and optimize process lead time.
This role is open to remote consideration in the state of Ohio but must close to the Evendale site to be able to come on site when needed, sometimes with short notice.
