Design and implement comprehensive AML strategies that include, but are not limited to, the management of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), transaction monitoring, blacklist management, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and the assessment of negative news.
Review and manage the escalation of high-risk accounts and PEP cases, ensuring that significant AML risks and concerns are communicated effectively to the AMLO as required.
Support the organisation in addressing regulatory inquiries and requests, including ad hoc inquiries and inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable obligations.
Assist in the auditing process and prepare regulatory reports to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Identify and mitigate potential AML risks while addressing any existing gaps in compliance practices.
