Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

To operate and maintain the industrial refrigeration system for a turkey processing plant. The technician position applies for individuals with mechanical aptitude and ambition to continue a career in the refrigeration field.



+ Installation and repair of industrial refrigeration equipment in accordance to blueprints and engineering specs.

+ Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM).

+ Provide preventive maintenance to the ammonia systems.

+ Knowledge of Frick screw and reciprocating computer systems and ice making systems.

+ Maintain logs and paperwork

+ Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and promote a safe work environment for self and coworkers.



Requirements


+ Minimum of 3 years experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration.

+ Able to work flexible start times and rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
