Anaesthetic Practitioner AA

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties (Maxillo Facial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Elective, Gynaecology, Breast, Minor Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology).
• Work cohesively with multidisciplinary teams in Recovery and Scrub.
• Maintain evidence of continuing professional development.
• Adapt to shift and weekend work across all sites in Fife.
• Participate in a robust induction program led by Clinical Educators and an Education Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).
• Experience as an anaesthetic nurse with additional scrub or recovery experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
