Anaesthetist Delegate, Emergency Response Roster

The Norwegian Red Cross (NoRC) is part of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement, the world’s largest humanitarian network operating in more than 190 countries. NoRC maintains a roster of trained specialists who can be deployed at short notice to emergencies such as natural disasters, armed conflicts, health crises, and climate‑related crises.

Purpose of the Advertisement

This advertisement invites applications for training that may lead to admission to the NoRC Emergency Response (ER) roster. It does not relate to a permanent or specific position within NoRC.

Emergency Response Units (ERUs)

NoRC deploys Emergency Response Units that provide:

• Prehospital Emergency Care
• Mobile and Fixed Health emergency clinics
• Emergency Hospitals
• Public health services
• Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)
