Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This is a large 651-bed teaching hospital located 10 minutes from Newcastle CBD.

The complex consists of a single building, which is divided into 694 adult beds and another 126 paedaitric beds in the Children's Hospital. The CAMHS unit has 12 beds.

The Hospital is located in a leafy green suburb, known for maintained native bushland covered with hiking trails, picnic areas and a native animal enclosure.
