Analyst – Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions – Bilingual

What you’ll be doing

As an Associate in Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions, you will support the team in executing and winning mandates, which includes gathering information, creating pitches and marketing materials, analyzing the financial implications of proposals and supporting the due diligence process through to the close of a transaction.

• Support Managing Directors and team in transaction execution, business development presentations and meetings across diverse industries.
• Create confidential information memorandums, management presentations, client proposals, pitchbooks, and other marketing materials.
• Prepare detailed financial models and conduct valuation using comparable trading analysis, precedent transaction analysis, DCF, and industry metrics.
• Research and develop an awareness of M&A activity, trends, and developments.
• Maintain compliance with CIBC policies, standards, and controls.
