Analyst, Production Planning

Overview

The Production Planning Analyst is responsible for integrating demand planning, production planning, and commercial execution to support Domtar’s customers. This role partners closely within Planning with Sales, Sales Operations, Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, and ISAMs to translate strategic business plans into executable production schedules, inventory positioning, and service commitments. The role requires a strong balance of analytics, operational execution, and cross‑functional collaboration, with a deep understanding of ERP systems, manufacturing constraints, customer requirements, and cost‑to‑serve considerations. The position serves as a key connector between commercial demand signals and operational supply capabilities, ensuring reliable service, optimized inventory, and continuous improvement.
