Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Analyst will provide market intelligence and increase the overall analytical capacity in the shipping business units. Your prime focus will be market research (developing inhouse view), business analysis and business development and optimization. The analyst will also support strategic projects and strategic management programs at Strategic Business Unit (SBU) level based on evolving business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Market analysis and Reporting
Perform general industry, competitors’ and macroeconomics research/ analysis, follow industry trends, new technologies for the Dry and Wet markets as well as new segments
Promote and enhance market awareness and support business to further develop the inhouse market view
Maintain and further develop market research models, methodologies and relationships with industry experts / Sales & Purchase (S&P) brokers
