Purpose: Establish a 24-hour control tower to proactively monitor and manage DC late departers and in-transit exceptions for truckload deliveries supporting nightly FDC to Depot movements. To include standardized messaging to enable proactive customer communication. Goal: Minimizing service disruptions and ensuring timely “proactive” communication across the network



Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
