Analytical Chemistry Lab Intern — Hands-On Measurements

Responsibilities

• Analytical Measurements - perform routine sample measurements using a variety of analytical techniques, including porosimetry (BET, mercury intrusion), elemental analysis, and titration methods.
• Instrument Calibration & Validation - calibrate analytical equipment and perform instrument validations in line with recommended schedules to ensure reliable, reproducible data.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance - support troubleshooting activities and carry out routine maintenance of analytical instruments to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
• Laboratory Operations & Improvements - maintain a clean, organized workspace and contribute to implementing improvements in laboratory workflows and practices.
• Documentation & SOPs - maintain accurate laboratory documentation, including SOPs, shutdown procedures, error logs, and other records.
