Analytical Lab Operator

 

Analytical Lab Operators (ALOs) utilize the principles of self management and work under the administrative supervision of a Crew Manager. Most ALOs work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. While following standard analytical procedures, ALOs perform a variety of normally routine analyses in carrying out skilled analytical laboratory work utilizing a wide variety of analytical instrumentation such as GC, LC, pH meters, centrifuges, VIS, and IR. ALOs safely work with a wide variety of chemical samples for quality analysis. Lab test results are recorded on worksheets and entered into the company computer data system, SAP.
