The Cardiac Anesthesia Division is actively recruiting new members to support a growing program. The Division consists of 8 members. The members provide seamless coverage with pre-operative consultation, anesthesia for cardiac surgery and post-operative care in the Cardiac Surgery ICU. The Cardiac Surgery ICU is a 6-bed unit with capacity to expand to 8 beds. Our cardiac surgery volume is 600 cases per year with plans to increase significantly due to rapidly growing patient demand. The scope covers the entire spectrum of cardiac surgery, excluding minimally invasive procedures and transplant. We also provide short term mechanical support (V-A ECMO, V-V ECMO, VAD).
