Role Purpose Statement
The purpose of the API Inspector role is to ensure the integrity, reliability, and compliance of fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks in line with API, ASME, and international standards. With certifications in API 510, 570, and 653 etc., the inspector provides technical assurance for inspection, repair, and risk-based integrity programs. The role safeguards asset performance, reduces unplanned downtime, and enhances safety by conducting thorough inspections, applying RBI methodologies, and providing expert recommendations.
Accountabilities
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Conduct inspections of pressure vessels, piping systems, and aboveground storage tanks as per API 510, 570, and 653 requirements.
Monitor repairs, alterations, and rerating activities to ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
