Application Design Engineer

The Design Engineer is responsible for design studies and concept studies and will serve as a liaison between BorgWarner engineering, vendors and customers to ensure product designs.



Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

+ Communication with application engineers or others for CAD requests.

+ Perform CAD work on Catia as a standard CAD environment in BorgWarner.

+ Check the 3D model per request. - Perform tolerance stack-up analysis if necessary.

+ Dimensional or installation checks review with design leaders or requesters before release.

+ Support customers on site if needed for packaging study.

+ Support suppliers for parts structure, dimension and manufacturability.

+ Strictly abide the EHS rules and regulations and behavior guideline in the plant; wear PPE in right way; actively participate in EHS training; do housekeeping at work; report accidents and unsafe issues immediately join the acci...
