Application Engineer Well Decommissioning

We are looking for an Application Engineer for Well Decommissioning to support our Platform Operations team in the assessment, engineering, planning of wells that shall be decommissioned.

You will support the engineering, operations and commercial teams, in the development of solutions to enable our clients to reduce the cost of their well decommissioning operations. This includes financial analysis on project execution strategies – including cost engineering, downhole engineering and project scheduling.

This encompasses subsurface assessment of well isolation, devising the installation techniques for these barriers, and assessment and analysis of the downhole needs (hoisting, rotation, hydraulic etc) to allow the specification for suitable surface units, equipment and rigs. Finally, creating the financial analysis and the cost, schedule and risk profiles for each solution, to enable our clients to make project execution decisions.
