About this role:
As a global leader in microcontroller, Renesas is proud to build a trusted brand from the robust MCU, to optimized/efficient embedded solution, to innovation for future technologies. The candidate will report to the Director of Applications Engineering in Tokyo, Japan.
Specific duties of this role:
Lead and mentor a team of application engineers in Taiwan and Korea to provide exceptional technical support to customers using Renesas MCU products.
Help define and implement MCU related customer support strategy for the greater APAC regions to enable both pre and post sales opportunities.
Play a hands-on role to understand and articulate Renesas MCU solutions and value proposition that meet customer needs.
Determine customer requirements and expectations and proactively recommend products, solutions, and services needed to develop their end user applications.
