Application Scientist III, Cosmetics

Overview

At Sensient Technologies, we are looking for an Application Scientist III to join our team in Mexico. The ideal candidate is someone with experience in the cosmetic industry, who enjoys collaborating with customers and internal teams to create innovative solutions in formulations and color applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers and account managers to understand their market needs and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend optimal product selection (colors and ingredients) for applications in cosmetics and home care.
• Be responsible for technical (R&D) support on customer projects, testing and determining suitable color solutions.
• Develop and formulate cosmetic products such as foundations, lipsticks, creams and body lotions, and soaps.
• Coordinate communication between the customer and internal Regulatory, Sales and Quality departments.
