• support applications
• troubleshoot and resolve bugs
• work with development vendor
• analyse incidents and recommend resolution options
• restore working order
• provide root cause analysis
• provide short-term workaround
• provide long-term solution
• provide support from UAT to implementation to maintenance stages to audit
• recommend areas for improvement, including automation of manual tasks
• assume role of subject matter expert to end users
