I. JOB IDENTIFICATION
POSITION : Applications Developer
REPORTS TO : IT Supervisor
DEPARTMENT : IT – Business Applications
SUPERVISES/OVERSEES : None
II. JOB SUMMARY
The job incumbent is primarily responsible in building and implementing software and web applications. The job incumbent designs, develops, and tests applications based on specifications. The Application Developer leads and manages the change requests by fixing and providing continuous improvement of existing applications.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with IT Supervisor and Business Analyst/s to design and develop new systems by choosing and configuring software and hardware resources.
Identify and design the details of the application to be developed such as user interface, system interface, network requirements, and databases.
