Applications Specialist

An Applications Specialist is responsible for the application and software value chain, in order to provide product solutions for specific business needs. This role requires the management of the entire process of building applications, from the design and creation process, to testing, rolling out the application and the 3rd line support for applications used with DBS.

• A B- Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• ITIL Certification-compulsory (Practitioner level or above preferred0
• At least 2 certifications in your area of specialisation and /or general IT Applications (applications specialists are expected to be experts in several computer programs and data interfaces)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure and / or IT Support.
• Demonstrated Knowledge of Information Technology Systems and Infrastructure.
