Job Summary

This position works in the Eileen Dailly Aquatics Programs organizational unit. It involves aquatic leadership work in assisting a supervisor in the provision of aquatic instructional and recreational programs at Eileen Dailly Pool on an assigned shift, supervising and supporting the work of a team of full‑time, part‑time and auxiliary lifeguards, instructors, and recreation attendants. As the Aquatic Leader 1 on shift, you will be responsible for deck supervision, lesson supervision, ensuring that the pool, changeroom, and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and well‑maintained for the enjoyment of our residents while meeting standards of cleanliness and safety. The Aquatic Leader 1 will lead by example and engage in instructional, lifeguarding, maintenance, custodial, and clerical work while participating in the planning, organization and promotion of aquatic programs, aquatic fitness programs, and special events.
