ERM is hiring an Archaeological Field Technician to support future needs of survey efforts for projects located in Riverside, CA . Archaeological Field Techs will assist with or conduct archaeological field surveys or monitoring. This is a fixed‑term consulting role with a duration of six months and the possibility of renewal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Digging shovel tests and screening soil;
• Conduct intensive pedestrian surveys consisting of visually inspecting the land surface for presence of artifacts;
• Monitoring alongside construction crews to avoid impacts to resources;
• Bagging recovered artifacts and recording the provenance of the finds;
• Maintaining field notes;
• Compliance with corporate HSE; and
• Performing other duties as assigned or required.
