Job description

Fixed Term for 6 months, Part Time 18.5 hours per week. Work patterns to be decided.

Gain experience in museum archaeology on a Bristol Museum Archaeology Placement.

About the placements

We have two paid placement positions available to help us work on the archaeology collections.

During the placement, you will be working on the archaeological material from over 3500 archaeological sites. Most of this material was collected before modern archaeological techniques or standards and your role will be to help catalogue and re-package it. You will work at museum sites or stores alongside the curatorial team.

Placements are designed to suit anyone looking to enter a career in archaeology or the museum sector.
