Building Science Technologist

Pinchin is seeking staff with knowledge of architectural and/or engineering fundamentals to join our Building Science team in our Peterborough Offices).

The successful candidate should have sound knowledge and understanding of building systems including general knowledge of architectural features such as structure, building enclosures, mechanical and electrical systems, roofing systems, interior elements, site features, etc.

A Day in the life of a Building Science Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Conduct Building and Property Condition Assessments for due diligence and/or capital planning purposes in accordance with the ASTM standards andUniFormat and best construction practices at various client sites.
