Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized advisory on archival services delivered to the public and researchers, including access services, reference inquiries, and consultation of paper and digital materials, in a manner that enhances user experience and service excellence.
  • Provide specialized advisory on evaluating the content and quality of archival records (paper, audiovisual, and digital) preserved in the central archives, and their contribution to supporting the Library’s research and cultural objectives.
  • Provide specialized advisory on technical archival services, such as cataloguing, classification, description (metadata), and digitization, ensuring alignment with local and international standards.
  • Provide specialized advisory on the thematic value and qualitative content of archival materials, and offer recommendations regarding the feasibility and significance of their accessibility, ensuring compliance with legal policies and privacy...
