Position Information Job Title Area Coordinator Summary The Area Coordinator is a full-time, 12-month, live-on professional staff member in the Office of Residence Life. The Area Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Residence Life and shares in the responsibility for all facets of the Residence Life program. The Area Coordinator leads a residential community and has responsibility for supporting Residence Life initiatives (such as Living-Learning Communities, RA Training and Development, or Marketing). Duties and Responsibilities Community Responsibilities

Lead and develop a residential community of approximately 550 students living in 1-2 residence halls

Focus on residential student engagement and relationship development

Supervise, develop, and evaluate 8-15 RAs, including 1-2 Senior RAs

Oversee the planning and implementation of all programming initiatives within the residential area
