**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The Area Human Resources Manager (AHRM) is a valued member of the leadership team, supporting our Dedicated Contract Carriage product line (Transportation), reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. As a trusted business partner, the AHRM will ensure HR initiatives, programs, and procedures are consistent with organization-wide direction and successfully administered and maintained. A successful AHRM will demonstrate an understanding of the strategic relationship between effective human resource management and core business functions. This field-based position will provide HR support to 56 locations and approximately 1700 associates across multiple states and three Field HR Managers as direct reports. Up to 50% overnight travel required to maintain regular onsite HR presence at all local operations to support associates and address associate needs.
