Position Overview
The Area Sales Manager role is the primary contact for dealer principals and key dealership managers to lead and manage change within the dealership toward the fulfillment of Volkswagen critical targets. Under the direction of the National Manager, Sales, the Area Sales Manager provides virtual support to all aspects of the development and monitoring of the area’s new and used vehicle sales programs, vehicle forecasting and allocations consistent with the achievement of our critical targets.
The successful candidate will identify customer needs, present suitable solutions, and drive sales to achieve targets. They will guide customers through the buying process—personally, by phone, or digitally—covering the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing. The role requires close collaboration with other departments to ensure that sales strategies align with company objectives.
