In this role you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all mechanical maintenance and coordination activities for Rustenburg Smelter during the care and maintenance period
• Ensuring that maintenance planning and execution meet operational, legal and safety standards
• Managing projects, shutdown and breakdown maintenance, and ensuring timely response to all mechanical issues affecting plant assets
• Leading and supervising the maintenance team to achieve objectives in equipment reliability, critical spares management, and individual/team performance
• Planning workflow, scheduling maintenance tasks, and optimising team competency and development
