CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
The purpose of this post is to execute Building and Engineering related maintenance work and services to all NMU buildings on all campuses and in accordance with the Health and Safety Act and NMU policies and procedures.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
To ensure all works requisitions and job cards are completed daily.
To ensure that all building and engineering maintenance work and services are completed daily.
To ensure that preventative maintenance is carried out through regular inspections of buildings.
To keep record and control over tools and machines in respect of carpentry services.
To work independently and complete all stand-by related work.
