We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Asbestos Analyst to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough asbestos analysis and maintaining laboratory accreditations whilst adhering to strict quality assurance standards.
Perform bulk identification, asbestos in soil analysis (both P/A and S/Q), and fibre counting in the laboratory
Ensure equipment and compliance systems are maintained in accordance with ISO standards
Adhere to the conditions of ISO 17025 at all times
Assist with technical and quality tasks as required
Act as a training mentor for internal staff
Participate in internal and third-party proficiency testing programmes and ensure satisfactory results are achieved
Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures
