Overview

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking to appoint an Asbestos and Health & Safety Lead to take strategic and operational responsibility for asbestos management and health and safety compliance across its housing portfolio, including council homes and communal areas. This pivotal role is central to ensuring that residents are provided with safe, high-quality living environments, while the Council consistently meets its statutory and regulatory obligations.

The postholder will lead on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of asbestos management frameworks and wider health and safety systems, providing expert guidance across services.
