Job Description

Position: ASL Instructor for International & Indigenous Languages Program (IILP) The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking qualified ASL (American Sign Language) instructors to fill Continuing Education International & Indigenous Languages teaching and/or supply teaching position. Classes take place on Saturdays (1:00-3:30 pm) and during the week for the After School Program (Mondays & Tuesdays 4:00-5:15 pm). Classes on Saturday afternoon and during the After School Program are offered virtually throughout the year. We are also looking for ASL instructors to teach during the summer program, July 4-28 Monday to Friday either in-person (Summerside PS) or virtually.. The summer program is offered in the morning (9:30-12:00) and in the afternoon (1:00-3:30). The rate of pay for an IILP instructor is $29.26 + 4% vac pay per hour.
