ASL Interpreter - Casual (Cognitive Science) - #Staff

The Johns Hopkins University seeks an experienced, nationally certified hourly **_ASL/Interpreter - Casual_** to serve on a designated interpreter team. This position is responsible for casual/hourly transliteration services and collaboratively supporting and teaming with other interpreters. This position is responsible for providing interpreting services in American Sign Language (ASL) for a pre-identified purpose. May also work collaboratively to support and partner with other interpreters.

**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Provides ASL/English interpreting for on-demand and regularly scheduled meetings, talks, classes, and other functions. Assignments may be a combination of recurring and one-time appointments. There may be occasional travel for conferences and invited talks.
