Job Description
Embark on a summer internship as an Asphalt Lab Technician, assisting in critical testing operations from May to August. Experience a supportive, safety-first work environment.
This role targets students currently enrolled in a Chemical or Civil Technologist Diploma program. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting asphalt product tests, extracting recycled materials, and observing safety protocols. Help foster a culture of safety while working collaboratively with your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in diverse asphalt product testing tasks
• Recover materials from recycled asphalt sources
• Comply with safety and environmental standards
• Identify hazards and propose elimination strategies
• Promote a proactive safety culture in the workplace
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a relevant diploma program
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License
• Proficient in QC Software and MS Office applications
• Excellent communication skills required
