Assembler

Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for an Assembler for their Smithfield, PA location. Responsibilities:

+ Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations

+ Exhibits a strong commitment to growth, development and professionalism to drive learning and development for continuous improvement within the manufacturing team

+ Work independently to develop, modify, and document actions to assure problem resolution and/or to implement correction action and/or preventive action

+ Engages in ongoing learning to build and maintain necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities

Requirements:

+ 1 + years’ experience reading, understanding, engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
