Assembler

Our Client, a Manufacturing Conglomerat , is looking for an Assembler for their East Setauket, NY location. Responsibilities:

+ Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.

+ Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.

+ Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

+ Frequently interacts with peers and customers to exchange or present factual information.

+ Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

+ Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.

+ Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
