Location

Remote (with travel within Western Canada as required)

Purpose

The Assessment Consultant is responsible for working directly with Service Providing Organizations (SPOs) and funders to assess, support, and strengthen Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) programs. The role focuses on risk assessment, quality improvement, compliance, and capacity building to ensure safe, high-quality, and standards-aligned child care services.

Program Assessment and Quality Improvement

  • Conduct assessments of assigned CNC programs to identify potential risks to children’s health, safety, and well‑being.
  • Collaborate with CNC program staff to develop and implement strategies that address identified risks and strengthen program quality.
