Assistant Accountant

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join a growing Australian owned business. Working alongside a fun, professional team, the successful candidate will be performing day to day responsibilities such as reporting, reconciliations, journal postings, manage the expense system and more. This role is best suited for someone studying towards a CA/CPA as their is oppprtunity for career progression

Responsibilities: 
Reporting into the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• GL reconciliations
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Assist with preparation of annual budgets
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assiting with BAS preparations
• Ad hoc duties designated by the manager. 
• Assist with system upgrades and process improvement projects
• Stakeholder management across the wider business
