Senior Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant

An established and growing group operating within the fishing and import/export sector is seeking to appoint a strong Senior Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant to provide direct support to the Financial Manager across multiple entities.
This is a hands‑on, high‑responsibility role suited to an experienced accounting professional who is confident working across 4‑5 sets of books and who understands accounting principles thoroughly. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail‑driven, and capable of working independently without requiring constant supervision.
Minimum Requirements Accounting Diploma (or equivalent qualification)
5+ years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or assistant accounting role
Strong understanding of general ledger accounts and accounting principles
Proven experience working within a multi‑entity environment
