Assistant Accounting Officer

Minerva Marine Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accounting Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you will provide assistance, and data entry services to the department in order to ensure the smooth, accurate and timely implementation of all accounting and tax activities.

Main responsibilities

• Assists in all administrative activities.

• Communicates, coordinates and maintains the appointments agenda between the Manager and other departments and/or third parties/contacts/suppliers/agents.
• Maintains office files and records and ensures that information systems and databases are updated at all times.
• Assembles relevant data as directed.
• Performs general accounting activities as requested.
• Prepares financial documents, reports and/or budgets as needed.
