About the Assessor's Office
The Assessor's Office of San Luis Obispo County is looking for a dynamic Assistant Assessor. The individual selected for this role will be a key member of the senior leadership team and be instrumental in the overall strategic planning for the department.
The Assistant Assessor is an at-will position that directly reports to the County Assessor, Tom J. Bordonaro, Jr., and leads the team of five Assessment Managers, one for each division of the department. The five divisions include: Administrative Services, Assessment Services, Automation & GIS / Mapping, Business Property & Commercial Appraisal, Residential Appraisal.
The successful candidate will work closely with the County Assessor and the Department's management staff. We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated success in the following areas:
