Assistant Baker

As an Asst. Baker, you'll be responsible of the following:

• Assist in the preparation and baking of basic pastries, breads, and desserts under supervision.
• Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately according to provided recipes and instructions.
• Help with simple decorating, assembling, and finishing of baked goods as directed.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures and immediately report issues to the supervising baker or chef.
• Perform basic kitchen tasks such as preparing ingredients, washing utensils, and organizing work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and labeling ingredients correctly.
• Help minimize waste by handling ingredients carefully and following portion instructions.
