Job Responsibilities
The Assistant Fire Chief of Prevention is responsible for overseeing fire prevention programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards, and reducing risks to personnel and critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading and managing the Fire Prevention section, ensuring compliance with all applicable fire prevention standards and codes, including National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations.

Developing, administering, and promoting fire prevention, protection, and public safety education programs to ensure the safety of personnel and mitigate risks.
