Assistant Foreman

GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT

Supervises on a daily basis, electricians, plumbers, HVAC and Utility mechanics to ensure the uninterrupted flow of utilities and the continuous operation of the plant’s mechanical systems during off – hours reports directly to the Operations Manager.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Schedules and assigns section personnel on a daily basis to perform routine scheduled maintenance tasks and to respond to mechanical and CAS alarms and emergency calls.

2) Provides orientation and on-the-job training in the systems that serve the physical plant, , heating, cooling, water, steam, electricity, medical gases, vacuum, tube systems.

3) Assures communication between shifts by overseeing the proper use of the Electronic log book & the work order system.
