Assistant Manager

Our client is a well known Shipping Brand. Currently they are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join them as Assistant Manager (Line/Trade Management) .

In this role, your key responsibilities will involve the following areas :

• Daily operational aspect including monitoring vessel movement at sea and vessel activities when in port. This includes close liaison with overseas agents as well
• Space control including over-booking management; cargo selections and fixed slot customer excess request
• Update vessel position for own operated ship and partners vessel. Disseminating revised schedule to internal and key clients
• Close monitoring of daily bunker consumption via use of the system and ensure vessel consumption is in line with Time Charter Description (TCD) and cross check against other sister ships previously operated in the trade or region
