Assistant Manager - Cranes

About the role

Oversees Crane Department with focus on shift management, ensures that department activities are directed towards maintaining safety, high availability, and fastest time to repair of Quay Cranes and RTGs, in-line with the objectives of the Corporate Asset Management strategy for all ATI sites.

Key Accountabilities

• Acts as manager for the QC and RTG related maintenance/repair activities and sustaining activities.
• Plan and Control operating budget related to equipment and activities within his control to support maintenance priorities and other related projects.
• Ensure corrective actions resulting from condition-based monitoring/predictive maintenance and other reported defects are accomplished on a timely manner.
• Ensure availability of inventory spare parts and required workshop tools through proper coordination with Engineering Planning and Control and Materials Management departments.
