Assistant Manager, Global Material Flow, Intermediates Asia Pacific

Objectives of the Position

• Responsible for ramping up and growing BASF Intermediates' technology licensing business in selected subregion of Asia Pacific, mainly India and ASEAN

Main Tasks

• To develop customized technology license packages, including engineering services and catalysts supply, for licensees constructing production plants using BASF technologies.
• To build and maintain long-term relationships with industry partners (licensees, engineering partners, vendors) to enhance BASF's business on a global scale
• To collect, monitor, analyze and share competitive intelligence to gain competitive advantage for BASF
• To represent BASF in industry associations, conferences, trade shows, customers events etc. through presenting technical and/or industry-relevant topics and networking
