Assistant Manager Lab/QC

Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager Lab/QC & R&D will lead laboratory operations, ensure quality control of masterbatch production, and drive R&D initiatives. The role includes supervising daily testing, approving batches, improving formulations, ensuring instrument accuracy, coordinating customer colour approvals, and preparing QC/R&D (Quality Control/ Research & development) reports to support production and management decisions.
Job Description:
Lead daily Lab & Quality Control operations, ensuring accurate testing (MFI - Melt flow index, dispersion, colour measurement, melt index, moisture).
Approve production batches and monitor product quality against standards.
Conduct R&D and formulation trials for colors, additives, and fillers.
Maintain and calibrate lab instruments and ensure compliance with QA standards.
Train lab staff on testing procedures, safety, and quality protocols.
Coordinate customer shade/colour approvals and address technical queries.
